Tell us about the team you work with - what do they do?

Hiring Solutions is UBC’s in-house recruitment team, partnering with departments and HR colleagues across all faculties and units to deliver high-quality, fast-turnaround hiring at competitive rates. We connect hiring managers with golden candidates, from senior leadership searches to quick placements through our pre-screened talent pool. When recruitment challenges come up, we’re ready to take down any roadblocks to get the right person in place. Our recruiters and placement team know how it’s done.

What three words would others use to describe you?

Curious, caffeinated, steady.

What do you do regularly to invest in your mental and/or physical health?

I bike to work (thank you UBC Campus & Community Planning), softball with HR All-Stars, and spend time with my daughter, often watching (or singing along to) K-pop Demon Hunters on Netflix together.  Unwinding with her is the best part of my day.
