UBC Okanagan – Call for proposals for the Work Study program

The Work Study program has $400,000 available in subsidies to enable faculty and staff at UBC Okanagan to create outstanding student employment opportunities.

If you have a work opportunity to help students develop their professional skills and contribute to a work environment, submit a proposal to the Work Study program by January 20, 2025.

    UBC community members among new Order of Canada appointees

    On December 31, 2025, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, announced 80 new appointments to the Order of Canada. Fifteen of the most recent appointments have ties to UBC, as current and former members of faculty, alumni, honorary degree recipients and a member of the Board of Governors.
