February 18, 2026
UBC Vancouver faculty members are invited to submit letters of intent (LOI) to apply for 2026 funding through the for Continuous Learning Advancement Fund (CLAF).
This funding supports the creation, renewal and expansion of non-degree learning opportunities at UBC Vancouver, and increases the university’s capacity to serve continuous learners in British Columbia.
The CLAF fund accepts proposals for non-credit offerings, with preference given to proposals for fully online, micro-credential, non-credit programs serving continuous learners seeking to change (reskill) or advance (upskill) their careers in high-demand sectors.
A total of $250,000 of funding is available for the 2026/27 CLAF cycle.
Key dates:
- Letters of intent due May 7, 2026
- Full project proposals due July 23, 2026
- Funding released to successful proposals by the end of November 2026
More details about the fund, including the application process, evaluation criteria and key dates, are available online. If you have any questions, please email: claf.admin@ubc.ca.
