Applications open for the UBC Wellbeing Strategic Initiative Fund

The UBC Wellbeing Strategic Initiative Fund supports departments and units at UBC’s Vancouver and Okanagan campuses, as part of our commitment to the Okanagan Charter to become a health and wellbeing-promoting institution, as outlined in UBC's Wellbeing Strategic Framework. 

This year, up to $5,000 per project is available to advance three special focus areas:  

  • Nurture a strong and vibrant UBC community
  • Support wellbeing in classroom environments
  • Advance community and planetary wellbeing through health equity

Faculty and staff at Vancouver and the Okanagan may submit an application by July 6, 2026.
