Renewal of the Indigenous Strategic Initiatives Fund

As part of the university’s ongoing commitments to uplift Indigenous peoples and advance Indigenous rights, UBC has renewed the Indigenous Strategic Initiatives Fund with an additional $3 million in funding. The first of three new rounds of funding will be announced this fall. 

The ISI Fund was established in 2021 to support collective, collaborative, and sustained implementation of UBC’s Indigenous Strategic Plan and UBCO’s Commitments to Truth and Reconciliation.
