Submit an Emerging Media Lab proposal by July 15

June 30, 2026

UBC faculty at UBC Vancouver are encouraged to submit proposals related to their teaching, learning or research projects that use emerging technologies and groundbreaking educational techniques (such as virtual or augmented reality).

UBC’s Emerging Media Lab (EML) is an open experimental lab space where faculty, staff, and students from all disciplines collaborate to create tools and techniques to evolve learning using emerging technologies, in support of UBC’s strategic plan.

Find out about current and past examples, and submit a proposal by July 15, for the winter 2026 intake.

If you have questions, please reach out to EML at emergingmedia.lab@ubc.ca.
