Announcing the recipients of UBC's 2025 Faculty Research Awards

This year, 29 faculty members have been named as recipients of UBC’s Faculty Research Awards.

This award recognizes the research excellence and scholarly achievements of faculty from across all disciplines, ranging from the applied sciences and medicine to the social sciences and humanities. Award recipients are selected by UBC’s Faculty Research Awards Committee and include early career researchers through to established members of faculty.

    Call for applications: Asian Canadian racial equity and inclusion advisory committee

    Faculty and staff in Vancouver and the Okanagan are invited to apply for UBC’s newly forming advisory committee on Asian Canadian racial equity and inclusion. The committee will advise on a forthcoming project that builds on the university’s sustained efforts to address anti-Asian racism, including the 2021 National Forum on Anti-Asian Racism that was supported by the Canadian Race Relations Foundation, a federal Crown corporation.
