Describe what you do at UBC in 10 words or less:

Assist the UBC community in understanding and managing conflicts of interest.

What is the best thing about your work/role at UBC?

Getting to build relationships with Department Heads and Deans, and assisting them in understanding conflict of interest and conflict of commitment disclosures.

What is your favourite quote and why?

"Trees have a secret life that is only revealed to those who are willing to climb them" by Reinaldo Arenas. This quote has always reminded me to appreciate nature and to take risks.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

I love pet sitting for friends and family and I love all animals. I also love learning afrobeat dancing and I'm teaching myself how to sew.
