Apply for the 2026 Partnership Recognition and Exploration Fund

May 11, 2026

Applications are now open for the Partnership Recognition and Exploration (PRE) Fund, which offers up to $1,500 in funding to support community-university collaboration and relationship-building.

The PRE Fund supports small, early-stage partnerships that strengthen reciprocal relationships between UBC and community organizations. Funding is intended to fill small but meaningful resource gaps so community partners can build reciprocal relationships with UBC faculty, staff, and students.

In alignment with UBC’s Strategic Directions 2025–2030, the fund prioritizes initiatives that generate societal impact, advance sustainability and justice, and improve access to knowledge through collaborative research, teaching, and learning.
