I bridge the gap between developers and management, driving technical direction and successful deliveries.
What is the best thing about your work/role at UBC?
The best part of my role is solving technical problems with team leadership. I get the opportunity to design systems, guide technical decisions, as well as help the team grow while delivering high-impact solutions. It’s rewarding to see a well-coordinated team solve complex challenges and bring ideas to life.
What is your favourite quote and why?
"Great vision without great people is irrelevant." — by Jim Collins, author of Good to Great
Because having the best ideas, strategies, or goals, but without the right people — aligned, motivated, skilled — cannot bring that vision to life. The focus shouldn't be just about setting direction, it's about building and empowering the right team to get there.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
In my spare time, I love painting and working on DIY crafting projects. Recently, I’ve also taken up Taekwondo, which has been an exciting new challenge to push my physical limits.
