About the team

Hi there—we’re the UBC Internal Communications team. We’re here to help faculty and staff stay informed with what’s happening at UBC. 

Our team is responsible for managing university-wide internal communications for faculty and staff. This includes sharing university news, announcements, and stories about the people in our community through the award-winning UBC Today website and weekly newsletter. We also help to share updates from leadership via UBC Broadcast and UBC Bulletin. Our goal is to ensure that communications to faculty and staff are clear, timely and relevant. We also advise our colleagues across the university on broader strategies for engaging UBC’s internal community. 

We sit under the Vice-President, External Relations, within the Communications portfolio, which includes the News and University Affairs, Strategic Communications, and Brand and Marketing teams.
