UBC recognized as one of Canada's greenest employers in 2025

For the 14th consecutive year, UBC has been named one of Canada’s Greenest Employers. This special award recognizes Canadian employers that lead in creating a culture of environmental awareness, developing exceptional sustainability initiatives and attracting employees because of their environmental leadership. Three reasons why UBC was recognized this year include environmental initiatives across both campuses, its Green Building Action Plan and its Sustainability Coordinator Program.

    Meet the 2025 recipients of UBC’s Community-University Engagement Support Fund

    UBC Community Engagement, in collaboration with the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation, is proud to announce the 2024-25 recipients of the Community-University Engagement Support (CUES) Fund.This year, a total of $727,014 was awarded to 30 outstanding projects, with grants of up to $25,000 each. These partnerships—spanning urban, rural, and Indigenous communities across the province—are designed to support community-led initiatives while advancing collaborative research, teaching, and learning.
