Applications open for the StEAR Enhancement Fund

The UBC community is invited to apply for the Strategic Equity & Anti-Racism (StEAR) Enhancement Fund this fall. A total of $300,000 is available to fund projects that advance the university's equity and anti-racism efforts. Individual or group applicants in Vancouver and the Okanagan may submit a proposal for funding between $500 to $10,000 per project. 

Since being launched last fall, $294,385 has been allocated across 41 community-led projects.

The deadline for the first call for applications is Sept. 16. Additional application windows will be available from October to December.

    The UBC Okanagan community is invited to give their feedback regarding an update to the existing UBC Okanagan campus plan. The campus plan, which was created in 2015, is being updated to inform how UBC Okanagan will use its land over the next 20 years. The first round of engagement took place in spring 2024.
