Apply to the Developing Leaders Program by Sept. 12

The Developing Leaders Program is now taking applications from Management & Professional (M&P) staff at the Vancouver campus who have three years or less experience in managing a team of direct reports.

The five-month leadership development program is designed to equip newer leaders with the knowledge, skills, and practices necessary to lead, succeed and grow in their leadership roles at UBC.

The the program will run from October 23 – March 12, and the deadline for applications to the Fall cohort is September 12.

    Call for applications at UBC Vancouver: Campus as a Living Lab Fund competition

    The Campus as a Living Lab Fund Competition offers up to $500,000 in total seed funding to support innovative, interdisciplinary projects led by UBC Vancouver faculty and staff. Projects should advance sustainability through academic–operational collaboration and use the campus as a testbed for real-world impact.Each project must have two co-leads—one faculty and one staff—from different departments, disciplines or units, who will co-develop and co-direct the project.Attend an upcoming information session by the Sustainability Hub and submit a Notice of Intent by Sept. 30.

    Apply to the Teaching Development Program for new faculty

    The Teaching Development Program for new faculty supports early career instructors who teach credit courses at UBC Vancouver or UBC Okanagan. Offered by the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology, this flexible program can be completed in one or two semester(s), and includes online and in-person elements. It provides multiple pathways to completion, in order to accommodate early career instructors. The deadline to register is August 25.
