A message from Gillian Henderson, Executive Director, Human Resources, UBC Okanagan

Dear colleagues,

Deputy Vice-Chancellor Lesley Cormack has determined that she would like to offer the Workplace Preferences Survey, to all departments and faculties at UBCO. Some departments and Faculties completed the survey earlier in the year, but to ensure up to date information and for consistency we are going to survey the entire campus on the week commencing January 11, 2021.

The Workplace Engagement team in Vancouver will administer the Workplace Preferences Survey in Qualtrics. The survey will open first thing on Monday, January 11 and close at the end of day on Wednesday, January 20. We will send out the link to the survey via a UBCO global email on January 11.

Please encourage your staff and faculty to complete the survey, even if this is the second time they have received it. The goal is to have more complete data from the same time period, reflective of staff and faculty's current experiences of remote working. It is also possible that these experiences may have changed over the recent months. There will also be some additional questions specific to our campus, so even if you and your team have already completed the survey we hope that you will take a few minutes to complete the survey again.
