A message from Lesley Cormack, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Principal, UBC Okanagan

way’ UBC Okanagan campus community,

In 2019, UBC Okanagan pledged to support Indigenous students, culture and scholarship through a public declaration of five commitments in response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action.

These commitments were made to support and implement the recommendations of the Indigenous Advisory Committee to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Principal to advance truth and reconciliation. The commitments can be seen at ok.ubc.ca/about/indigenous-engagement.

I am honoured to invite you to participate in a virtual session to discuss UBC Okanagan’s continuing progress toward fulfilling our TRC commitments.
