UBC researchers receive NFRF funding to explore disruptive and climate change research

15 UBC-led projects have been awarded a combined total of $9.6 million through two competitions to conduct research that has the potential to have game-changing impacts.

Of these 15 projects, four projects are focused on climate and mitigation have been awarded a combined $6.86 million. The remaining 11 projects have been awarded a combined $2.75 million as part of the NFRF (New Frontiers in Research Fund) Exploration Stream.
