Dear colleagues,

In this world of fake news, in which scientific theories and developments are challenged more than ever before, it has never been more important to think deeply about how we can get the truth. I am therefore very pleased to remind you that the Faculty of Science is hosting Dr. Derek Muller as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series (DSS) who will help us do just that.

This virtual event will be held this Thursday, March 31 at 7 pm.

As one of UBC Okanagan’s premier community engagement events, the DSS features thought leaders who have achieved excellence in their field and strive to implement that excellence on a global scale.

    Workday Student reaches key milestone

    We are pleased to announce that Workday Student will reach a key milestone next week, when it becomes directly accessible by UBC’s student population.On May 21, all new and returning UBC students will gain access to Workday Student to support all their academic administrative activities for the Winter 2024 session and beyond.
