Recognize the outstanding achievements of your colleagues in Vancouver who have demonstrated their commitment to reducing climate change, reversing biodiversity loss, transforming to circular economies and creating more resilient communities. The deadline to submit your nomination is April 3.

All submissions will be reviewed against the following criteria:

  • Innovation
  • Initiative
  • Leadership
  • Inclusive communities

Award recipients will be recognized at the Sustainability Celebration on April 21.

    Recognizing Teaching Excellence at UBC Okanagan

    The recipients of UBC Okanagan’s Killam Teaching Prize and the Provost’s Award for Teaching Excellence and Innovation have been announced.They are exemplary role models who make significant impacts on the culture of teaching and learning on the Okanagan campus.Winner of the Killam Teaching Prize is Dr. Christine Schreyer, Associate Professor of Anthropology, in the Irving K. Barber Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.The Provost’s Award for Teaching Excellence and Innovation was awarded to three faculty members:
