Dr. Andrea Esteves, Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral Health Sciences, has served as Dean pro tem of the Faculty of Dentistry since August 2023. This extension of appointment is for the period August 2024 until August 2025, or the appointment of the new Dean.
Every fall, UBC’s leadership launches a comprehensive and consultative planning process to determine how best to allocate our financial resources for the upcoming year. Coordinated planning activities on the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses result in a consolidated budget proposal that is submitted to the Board of Governors each spring.
Dr. Joanne Fox has accepted an extension of appointment as the Principal of Vantage College. She will begin her final three-year term on July 1, 2025.

The UBC Okanagan community is invited to give their feedback regarding an update to the existing UBC Okanagan campus plan. The campus plan, which was created in 2015, is being updated to inform how UBC Okanagan will use its land over the next 20 years. The first round of engagement took place in spring 2024.
