A message from Ananya Mukherjee Reed, Provost and Vice-President, Academic, UBC Okanagan; and Brad Wuetherick, Associate Provost, Academic Programs, Teaching and Learning, UBC Okanagan

Dear colleagues,

As part of UBC’s standard practice under the Board of Governors Policy AP8 and the Senate Policy on Reviews of Administrative Units, we are arranging for an external review of the UBC Okanagan Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies.

The terms of reference guiding the review include the following objectives:

  • to determine the effectiveness of the Faculty in delivering high-quality undergraduate and graduate training;
  • to evaluate the Faculty’s leadership and administration;
  • to assist the university in its consideration for the re-appointment of the dean of the Faculty;
  • to assess the Faculty’s standing nationally and internationally; and
  • to advise on the future development of the Faculty.
