Submit your proposal for the 2021 Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions funding to address climate change

The Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS) is a research and engagement network across four collaborating research universities – University of British Columbia, University of Victoria, Simon Fraser University, and University of Northern British Columbia. PICS supports the cogeneration of climate solutions research that can be actively used by decision-makers to develop effective mitigation and adaptation policies and actions in BC and beyond. 

Faculty and staff are invited to submit a proposal to the Theme Partnership Program to pursue innovative and cutting-edge original research that addresses the greatest challenge of our time, climate change. This program supports climate mitigation and adaptation research projects, funded up to $1 million. 

Submit a Letter of Intent by November 15, 2021.
