Complete the Employment Equity Survey by Oct. 31

You are invited to complete the Employment Equity Survey, a confidential online survey that helps inform the university's understanding of the demographic composition of faculty and staff. This survey is one way to examine patterns and trends in employment across the university. Your participation will enable leadership to take important steps to identify and remove systemic barriers to equity and report on progress.

If you haven’t completed the survey, or completed it prior to Oct. 2021, please complete the latest version of the survey that was emailed to you. Based on feedback received, a new and enhanced version of the survey was developed and released that offers more options for self-identification and uses up-to-date terminology to allow for an enhanced analysis and understanding of the composition and diversity of UBC’s workforce.

As a university, UBC is committed to doing better, to building more inclusive and equitable teaching and working spaces, and to creating a workforce that is reflective of the diversity of the student body and the wider community. A few minutes of your time spent completing this survey will provide UBC with better and more accurate data to advance equity and inclusion in our workplaces.
