How will you take part in this year's UBC United Way campaign?

UBC’s annual United Way campaign is currently underway until December, providing an opportunity for the UBC community to come together and raise funds for a great cause.
United Way British Columbia is strengthening vital connections that support people in need in our local communities across BC. All money raised will support health, care and inclusion locally.
There are a number of ways you can get involved in this year’s campaign:
- Donate to United Way British Columbia and help support the development of healthy, caring and inclusive communities. Faculty and staff in Vancouver and the Okanagan can choose to donate by payroll contribution or a one-time gift. UBC Okanagan faculty and staff who pledge by payroll are eligible to be entered in a draw fora range of prizes.
- Join this year’s Coffee campaign. Vancouver faculty and staff who pledge $5 per pay (or a $120 one-time gift) by October 31 will be mailed a coffee card to use at participating UBC Food Services locations in the month of November.
- Check-out one of the United Way fundraising events at UBC Vancouver.
- Invite a community member who has received help through United Way funding to address your team meeting about the positive impact the organization is having in our community. (Available virtually in the Okanagan).
