The holiday season inspires all of us in different ways. Whether it conjures up memories or hopes of spending time with your loved ones, cooking seasonal delicacies, curling up with a good book, learning a new skill, or simply pausing to reflect on the year that went by. 

A few weeks ago, we asked you – our faculty and staff community – to share a snapshot of what this holiday season symbolizes for you.  A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to send us a photo and share their comments and captions.

I saw snow on the beach for the first time in Vancouver last December. The scene was breathtaking, and it was a beautiful landscape; the sun was shining, and the snow was sparkling.
