Summer is in full swing, which is cause for celebration and an appreciation for the sunnier days, warmer weather and new seasonal growth.

A few weeks ago, we asked you – our faculty and staff community – to share a snapshot of what has captured your attention in the great outdoors, and what's growing in your home or garden. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to send us a photo and share their comments and captions.

And now, without further ado, take a moment to enjoy the seasonal plants, produce, herbs, blooms, and greenery submitted by your fellow colleagues.

I never liked risking cloudy days to watch sunsets because once you arrive, there could be too much cloud to even see the sunset. After that day, I now see the beauty and serendipity of cloud sunsets.

The season of beautiful sunsets, cool breezes, and long conversations after a tedious day of crunching numbers and debugging cryptic lines of code is here. In a sense, it provides the luxury of not having to always wait for the weekend to take a break.
