    Dr. Michael Hunt appointed Associate Dean, Graduate Programs at Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies

      Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Michael Hunt to the position of Associate Dean, Graduate Programs, effective September 1, 2021. Dr. Hunt is a Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Director of the Motion Analysis and Biofeedback Lab in the Faculty of Medicine. He is also currently the Associate Dean, Graduate and Postdoctoral Education, in the Faculty of Medicine, and will complete his term there concurrently, ending next summer.

    Reminder: have your UBC Card ready to access buildings during evenings and weekends

    As part of keeping our campus safe and secure, UBC is standardizing building hours for 2021/2022 Winter Session, Term 1. Buildings will be open to the public Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. These standard hours will be assigned to approximately 70 buildings on the Vancouver campus, that fall into the categories of academic, research, or administrative buildings that service the operations of the University.  You will need your UBC Card to access these buildings in the evenings and over the weekend.

    Maximizing FASmail storage and reducing digital clutter

    To maximize your FASmail storage space and reduce the risk of data breaches, the university is implementing a policy that will require information stored in certain FASmail folders to be automatically deleted every 90 days. This change comes into effect on October 4 and is applicable to faculty and staff using FASmail at UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan. Find out more
