Apply to join the UBC delegation for COP27

7 April, 2022

Join UBC’s delegation at COP27 to engage with the international climate negotiation process, share UBC’s leading research and climate actions, and build new partnerships with people from around the globe.

The 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP27) summit is taking place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from November 7 to 18, 2022. The annual summit brings together countries, civil society, companies and people on the frontline of climate change to accelerate action on the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Members of the UBC community have attended previous summits as official observers.

Each year UBC receives a limited number of observer badges for the negotiation space, known as the Blue Zone. UBC is aiming to receive at least four badges for each week of COP 27 (November 7-11, and November 14-18).

Applications for UBC's delegation at COP27 are open until May 4.
