Call for proposals for Emerging Media Lab projects

Faculty members at UBC Vancouver are invited to submit a proposal to work with the Emerging Media Lab team to explore how to incorporate emerging and immersive technologies into teaching, learning or research projects.

UBC’s Emerging Media Lab is an experimental lab space where faculty, staff, and students from all disciplines collaborate to evolve learning by creating tools and techniques using emerging media technologies.

The deadline for submitting project proposals is July 15.

    Call for applications: Join UBC’s Accessibility Committee

    UBC’s Accessibility Committee is inviting faculty, staff, and students on both campuses to apply to become members. Applicants should have lived experience of disability or be actively engaged in accessibility and disability advocacy. A number of 'at-large' positions are available, and, in addition, the UBC Executive will appoint seven members for key offices and appoint three student leaders representing the Alma Mater Society (AMS), Graduate Student Society (GSS), and Students’ Union of Okanagan (SUO).
