Search for a new Associate Vice-President, Research & Innovation

UBC Vancouver is embarking on a search for a new Associate Vice-President, Research & Innovation to succeed Dr. Matthew Evenden who completes his term later this fall.
The successful candidate will join Dr. Rachel Fernandez, Associate Vice-President, Research & Innovation, and the incoming Vice-Principal, Research & Innovation at UBC Okanagan on our portfolio leadership team.
The Vice-President, Research & Innovation portfolio provides UBC researchers and scholars with strategic information, resources and tools to support their work from grant writing through to generating impact. The portfolio also provides strategy and support for major research initiatives and partnerships, and facilitates access to opportunities for the UBC research community.
The appointment is for a five-year term and is renewable for a second term. This is an internal search. UBC faculty members with the rank of Full Professor with an outstanding academic record are invited to apply.
