A message from Ananya Mukherjee Reed, Provost and Vice-President, Academic, UBC Okanagan

Dear colleagues,

Over the summer and again this fall, President Ono committed our institution to addressing racism and injustice.

As part of this work, our campus has established a public forum on systemic racism, which began with the Different Together webinar in June 2020. These discussions have gained recognition beyond UBC and our campus is quickly evolving into a space for bold discussions. You can find the full recordings here.

In the coming weeks, we will continue the conversation with two key events in which I encourage our campus community to participate.
