Dr. Emmanuel Osei, Assistant Professor of Biology at UBC Okanagan is co-leads the Immunobiology Research Excellence Cluster and is contributing to work that could transform cancer treatment and other lung diseases. His lab focuses on developing bio-artificial disease models to better understand how chronic lung diseases develop and progress, and he is passionate about facilitating opportunities for students to experience hands on learning.
With heatwaves hitting Canada harder and more often, three UBC experts outline the urgent need to rethink how we design homes and neighbourhoods.Dr. Rachel H.
