UBC has a Policy on Academic Freedom in place to ensure community members are granted certain rights and privileges essential to the fulfilment of teaching and the pursuit of knowledge.

On March 27, the Board of Governors approved amendments to UBC’s Conflict of Interest (COI) Policy (SC3) and its associated Procedures, effective as of April 2.
