Shape the future of teaching and learning at UBC

Earlier this summer, the Centre for Teaching, Learning & Technology (CTLT) underwent a reorganization that saw the launch of the Learning Technology Innovation Centre (LTIC) as a new stand-alone unit, which serves as a catalyst for innovation in digital pedagogy, providing opportunities for faculty to explore emerging technologies. CTLT continues to focus on leadership and support in teaching and learning scholarship, course and program development, teaching practice development, and the integration of learning technology into teaching and learning practices.

You now have a say in how both units plan for the future. Help define the tools, supports, and services that will drive UBC’s teaching and learning priorities. You are invited to share your perspectives in a short survey. Your input will help shape how the university advances transformative learning, applies emerging technologies, and strengthens its core commitments within the framework of UBC’s strategic plan.

    Submit a proposal to hire international students for support with research projects

    The Work Learn International Undergraduate Research Award Program is a funding opportunity that subsidizes UBC Vancouver faculty members in hiring undergraduate international students to work on their research projects full time during the summer 2026 session.Through this program, faculty members can get help furthering their research while supporting international students in their workplace learning goals. Proposals will be accepted until January 28, 2026.
