Associate Vice-President, Health — call for applications

I am pleased to announce that UBC is embarking on a search for a new Associate Vice-President (AVP), Health on the Vancouver campus.

The AVP, Health is a key member of the Vice-President (VP), Health senior management team. The role has responsibility for providing academic leadership and development, administrative management and delivery related to implementing the Strategic Plan of the VP, Health portfolio.

We are seeking a faculty member to work with Deans and Directors, Senates, Department Heads, and Program Directors to deliver innovation in interdisciplinary education; health systems planning; and health research. The AVP, Health will also formalise operational connections with health system leaders, including government, community relations, health authorities, and building alignment within the university.
