UBC welcomes new board members
The UBC Board of Governors is pleased to announce that two new members have been appointed to serve on the board by the BC Provincial Government, effective May 17, 2021. The first appointee is Natalie Chan, President and Research Director of Be the Change Group, a Vancouver-based public and population health consulting and creative firm.

Prof. Yang-Yang Zhou named as a CIFAR-Azrieli Global Scholar
Dr. Yang-Yang Zhou, Assistant Professor of Political Science, has been named a CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholar. She is among 19 exceptional early-career scholars from eight countries to be selected for this fellowship for 2021-2023. Scholars are awarded $100,000 in unrestricted research support, mentorship, a global network, and professional skills development.
