Do you have a creative idea to make your lab or research activity more sustainable?

 

The Green Labs Fund is available to all faculty, staff and students at UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan. Apply to 2022 Green Labs Fund for the opportunity to receive up to $4,000 for your innovative plan.

To be eligible, proposals should:

  • Strengthen sustainability at UBC through reduction of environmental impacts of research activities
  • Benefit the UBC scientific community
  • Be within the range of $250 to $4,000
  • Have an immediate or short-term benefit and practical applicability

Submit your project summary, supporting materials, and supervisor approval to green.labs@ubc.ca. The deadline to apply is Sunday, March 20, 2022.

    Recognizing Teaching Excellence at UBC Okanagan

    The recipients of UBC Okanagan’s Killam Teaching Prize and the Provost’s Award for Teaching Excellence and Innovation have been announced.They are exemplary role models who make significant impacts on the culture of teaching and learning on the Okanagan campus.Winner of the Killam Teaching Prize is Dr. Christine Schreyer, Associate Professor of Anthropology, in the Irving K. Barber Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.The Provost’s Award for Teaching Excellence and Innovation was awarded to three faculty members:
