Nominations open for alumni UBC Achievement Awards

Faculty and staff are invited to nominate UBC community members in recognition of their professional and community contributions. There are eight categories to recognize UBC alumni, faculty members, or community members committed to building an exceptional UBC.These awards recognize excellence, leadership, and innovation in achievements and contributions to the social, cultural, and economic well-being of society, which positively reflect on the university.Find out about the awards, eligibility, criteria, and process and submit your nomination by February 13.

The Climate Teaching Connector, coordinated by the Sustainability Hub, offers UBC Vancouver faculty an accessible way to integrate climate change-related content into their courses. The program connects faculty with graduate students from diverse disciplines who deliver guest presentations grounded in their graduate program, research, lived experiences, and unique climate perspectives.
