Join UBC Vancouver’s Sustainability Coordinator Program

The Sustainability Coordinator Program provides faculty and staff in Vancouver with opportunities and resources to promote and implement sustainable practices on campus. 

It allows interested faculty and staff to work up to four paid hours per month (subject to supervisor approval). The program is aimed at enhancing sustainability awareness within your Faculty/unit, fostering relationships, and promoting sustainable practices across UBC through peer-to-peer learning and knowledge sharing. Develop your skills, access funding, and attend sustainability-focused educational events and networking sessions. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

    Applications open to host Indigenous youth in summer research program

    Faculty members in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) fields are invited to submit a seed2STEM proposal to host Indigenous youth in a summer research program.The seed2STEM program provides Indigenous high school students with paid six-week internships from July 7 to August 15, offering hands-on experience to inspire their interest in STEM fields. Find out how you can host a student this summer—whether in a wet lab, conducting literature reviews, or with knowledge translation.Learn more and submit a proposal by Apr. 15.
