Apply for the Partnership Recognition and Exploration Fund

Applications are now open for the 2023 Partnership Recognition and Exploration (PRE) Fund. The PRE Fund awards up to $1,500 in funding for projects that help empower community partners to build reciprocal relationships with UBC students, faculty, and staff.

Faculty and staff are invited to apply for funding until December 31, 2023, or until available funds are exhausted.

    Announcing the 2023/24 Community-University Engagement Support fund recipients

    This year, the Community-University Engagement Support (CUES) fund awarded over $700,000 to 30 projects between community partners and UBC students, faculty and staff across BC. These partnerships are aimed at benefiting communities and advancing collaborative research, teaching and learning. With awards of up to $25,000 each, CUES funding is paid directly to community partners, prioritizing reciprocal, inclusive engagement, which ensures all communities—especially those historically, persistently, or systemically marginalized—can benefit.
