The prevailing narrative on the climate crisis—and how to address it—often revolves around being told that the only way to solve it is to give up simple pleasures and conveniences. Dr. Jiaying Zhao, a behavioural scientist in the Department of Psychology and the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability, is working to change that narrative.
