I do qualitative research design, data analysis and knowledge translation.
What work achievement are you most proud of?
I am proud of all the research work I have done during my academic career, helping people share their voice and tell their story through qualitative research.
What is your favourite quote and why?
“Love is joy. Love is freedom. Love is the beginning of humanity.” This is from a Persian poet (H.A. Sayeh) and I really believe in that. This is one of my values in life which helps me to move forward while loving everything good around me.
What do you do regularly to invest in your mental and/or physical health?
Family is my priority, and I love to spend time with my family members. I try to have a healthy diet, while cooking and baking for my family. I have combined my physical activities with the joy of doing those activities as a family. This is so much helpful for both my mental and physical health.
Do you have a question of your own that you would like to answer?
How do you feel working at UBC? I feel so glad to be part of this prestigious community of scholars. Even walking in the campus streets brings me a feeling of joy and honour.
