Tell us about the team you work with – what do they do?

My team is the Communications Committee for the department. We source and publish stories within our department relevant to research, students, alumni, faculty, awards, and anything else about the department we want the world to know.

What three words would others use to describe you?

Tenacious. Extroverted. Diplomatic.

What do you do to ensure a healthy work/life balance?

I exercise in a variety of ways (run, bike, walk, free weights), even on lunch break! I also have a pretty clear distinction between work and life. But if needed, I am there. It's how I raise my children too. I provide space, room for independence and growth, but I'm always right there if needed.
