Promote cultural and environmental literacy to enhance public citizenship.
What is the best thing about your work/role at UBC?
Working with teacher candidates in the Bachelor of Education (BEd) program because K-12 teachers continue to inspire me in how they help produce generations of socially responsible citizens.
What trait do you most admire in others?
Integrity supported through resilience and motivated by compassion.
What do you do regularly to invest in your mental and/or physical health?
I practice Shinrin Yoku (forest bathing), which is the act of walking slowly through trees or forests to increase health, happiness, and well-being.
