Describe what you do at UBC in 10 words or less:
I support programs that enhance employee health and wellbeing.
What is the best thing about your work/role at UBC?
My team works in workplace wellbeing, so there's definitely an emphasis on wellbeing in the workplace. Every Wednesday, my team has an hour of "connecting time" booked in our calendars. During this time, we like to go on walks on campus, have tea, do puzzles, etc. One time we played ping pong at the Student Recreation Centre.
What trait do you most admire in others?
Empathy!
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I joined a choir that rehearses songs from musicals. I'm not very good at singing, but my friend said it would be fun. We're preparing for a concert at the Chan Centre in a few months – I'm nervous!
