Applications open for the StEAR Enhancement Fund

UBC faculty and staff are invited to apply for the Strategic Equity & Anti-Racism (StEAR) Enhancement Fund this fall.

A total of $200,000 is available to fund faculty and staff-led projects that advance the university's equity and anti-racism efforts. Individual or group applicants in Vancouver and the Okanagan may submit a proposal for funding between $500 to $10,000 per project. Another $100,000 will be made available for student-led projects.

The deadline for the first call for faculty and staff led applications is Oct. 15. An additional application window will be available from January to February.

    You are invited to participate in this year's Technology Enhanced Classroom (TEC) Expo as a presenter to share how technology is helping you transform your work at UBC. This is an annual event that celebrates innovative uses of technology across the university's face-to-face, blended and online classrooms. It will be held from Nov. 18 to 20, featuring a combination of in-person and virtual sessions. Submit a proposal by Oct. 22.
