New UBC Library gallery explores economic and social growth of early BC and the Yukon
UBC Library is excited to announce the official opening of the Chung | Lind Gallery showcasing the Wallace B. Chung and Madeline H. Chung Collection and Phil Lind Klondike Gold Rush Collection. The new exhibition space in the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre on UBC’s Vancouver campus brings together two library collections of rare and culturally significant materials from Canada’s history.

UBC’s amended Conflict of Interest Policy (SC3)
On March 27, the Board of Governors approved amendments to UBC’s Conflict of Interest (COI) Policy (SC3) and its associated Procedures, effective as of April 2. The policy was amended to fully reflect the annual COI reporting requirements for UBC staff members, as well as address various best practices that have emerged since the last revision.A copy of the approved Conflict of Interest Policy and its associated Procedures is available on the University Counsel website.

Centre for Workplace Accessibility seeking input on new disability inclusion course
Faculty and staff who self-identify as an individual with a disability, a disabled person, or as having a chronic health condition are asked to consider completing an anonymous 5-minute survey to help develop a course on disability inclusion.The Centre for Workplace Accessibility is creating the disability inclusion course and is seeking feedback from disabled employees by May 13.Learn more
