The best thing about my work/role at UBC:

The opportunity to serve some of the smartest students from all over the world. In a few years, some of them might be celebrities, movie stars, Nobel Prize winners, Prime Ministers or the president of a nation – you never know.

My favourite place to spend my lunch hour :

UBC is one of my favourite places on my tasting journey. My blog (TastingJourney.com) describes my dine out experience on campus since 2015. There are 40+ places to eat within walking distance, so dine out on a beautiful day, or as often as you like.

My top UBC tip for my colleagues, or for someone beginning their UBC journey:

Don't hesitate to try different positions at the university. UBC is a great place for adventure and you will get a very different experience when moving from one job to another. Each unit or branch has something different to offer.
