Flu immunization clinics available at UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan this fall

As influenza (flu) season approaches, protect yourself by taking the flu vaccine. UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan are offering free, appointment-based flu immunization clinics for faculty and staff this fall.  UBC Vancouver Dates: Oct. 25-29, Nov. 1-5 and Nov. 8-10 Venue: Ponderosa North Building Ballroom

The Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS) is a research and engagement network across four collaborating research universities – University of British Columbia, University of Victoria, Simon Fraser University, and University of Northern British Columbia. PICS supports the cogeneration of climate solutions research that can be actively used by decision-makers to develop effective mitigation and adaptation policies and actions in BC and beyond.

Gordon Binsted appointed at York University’s Markham campus

A message from Ananya Mukherjee Reed, Provost and Vice-President, Academic, UBC Okanagan As you are aware, Dr. Gordon Binsted’s appointment as dean, Faculty of Health and Social Development, concludes on June 30, 2022.  Dr. Binsted has recently been appointed as deputy provost, Markham, at York University and will conclude his term as dean, Faculty of Health and Social Development, on December 31, 2021.
