Translate complex information about student systems into accessible communications.

Tell us about the team you work with - what do they do?

I'm lucky to be on two teams that support the Faculty of Arts. My team at the Arts Service Centre Student (ASC Student) works hard to support the people who support our students. My team in Arts Communications works hard to support the many Arts units and the Faculty at large with all sorts of communications work.

What trait do you most admire in others?

Empathy. People who seek to really understand what life is like from another person's point of view are always worth spending time with.

What do you do regularly to invest in your mental and/or physical health?

I've taken great advantage of the benefits available to UBC employees. Services like counselling, osteopathy, and massage have contributed to a better quality of life for me while I work here. I'm also grateful to have leadership that supports this through words and actions.
